Do you buy junk cars?

  • Yes, we buy junk cars with proper paperwork, such as a valid title.

Do I need a title or registration to scrap my car?

  • You will need a title in your name, properly signed over. We also accept certificates of destruction.

Do you buy trailers, boats, motorcycles, or scooters?

  • Trailers weighing over 2,000 lbs. require a title.
  • Motorcycles & Scooters: Over 50cc require a title in your name, properly signed over.
  • Boats: We do not buy fiberglass boats, but we can purchase steel or stainless-steel boats.
Household & Appliances

Do you buy appliances like water heaters, refrigerators, stoves, and lawn mowers?

  • Yes, we purchase most major household appliances, including water heaters, fridges, stoves, washers, dryers, and lawn equipment.

Can I sell aluminum items like pool cages, beverage cans, or siding?

  • Yes, we buy many types of aluminum, including:
    • Beverage cans
    • Aluminum pots and pans
    • Aluminum siding, gutters, and downspouts
    • Patio furniture
    • Aluminum wheels
    • Aluminum wire

Can I recycle metal pots, pans, and cookware?

  • Yes, we accept metal cookware along with other household items like ladders, bicycles, and patio furniture.
Industrial & Manufacturing Scrap

 

Do you accept metal shavings from machining or manufacturing?

  • Yes, we buy clean metal shavings, including steel, aluminum, copper, titanium, and other metals.

Do you provide scrap metal pickup or container service?

  • Yes, we provide roll-off containers for businesses, job sites, and cleanouts. For smaller amounts (under a thousand lbs.), call our local yard, and we can connect you with a trusted partner who handles smaller pickups.

Do you offer commercial or industrial recycling services?

  • Yes, we provide full-service recycling solutions for manufacturers, fabricators, construction projects, and demolition jobs. Contact us to discuss container sizes and service options.
Batteries

Do you buy batteries?

  • We buy lead-acid batteries commonly found in cars, golf carts, motorcycles, and children’s ride-on toys.

What are lithium-ion batteries, and do you buy them?

  • Lithium-ion batteries are found in items like electric lawn mowers, scooters, power tools, and cell phones.
  • We do buy them, but they must be removed from steel items before drop-off to prevent fire hazards.
Types of Metals

What is the difference between ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal?

  • Ferrous metals contain iron and will stick to a magnet (steel, iron, etc.).
  • Non-ferrous metals do not stick to a magnet and are usually more valuable (copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel).

What types of metals are not accepted for recycling?

  • We do not buy precious metals, plastic, wood, rubber, or waste.

Note: It’s fine if these materials are attached to your scrap (like plastic handles on appliances), but we cannot accept full loads of non-metal material.

Process

How do you weigh scrap metal and ensure fair pricing?

  • All scrap is weighed on state-certified scales that are inspected regularly. We also use cameras and take photos of loads, which helps protect our customers by ensuring all scrap metal is weighed and paid for fairly.
Electronics & E-Scrap

 Do you recycle computers, laptops, and computer parts? What is e-scrap or electronic scrap?

  • Yes, we buy many types of electronic scrap (“e-scrap”), including:
    • Circuit boards
    • Cell phones and cell phone batteries
    • Copper yokes
    • CPU chips
    • Hard drives
    • Memory cards
    • Networking equipment
    • Laptops and laptop batteries
    • Routers, modems, and power supplies
    • DVD/CD drives and other components

**Note: We do not purchase monitors, keyboards, or low-grade plastic components.

Prohibited & Restricted Materials

What materials are prohibited or not accepted for recycling?

  • We cannot accept certain hazardous or restricted items, including:
    • Radioactive materials
    • Explosives or ammunition
    • Items with PCBs
    • Compressed gas cylinders or closed containers (must be punctured)
    • Propane tanks or cylinders (must be de-valved and punctured or cut in half)

Note: Lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries are purchased at our non-ferrous warehouse, but they must be removed from steel items before drop-off.
