TMR’s 28 Recycling Facilities Stand-Down for Safety

Trademark Metals Recycling (TMR) is pleased to announce its participation in the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries’ (ISRI’s) June 24 National Safety Stand-Down day. On June 24, all 28 TMR recycling facilities will conduct field-based safety awareness meetings, which will focus on improving the TMR safety process through employee involvement. The meetings will also include ISRI’s recommended emphasis on mobile equipment, lockout tagout, confined spaces, machine guarding, and fall prevention. In advance of the one-hour meeting, TMR is asking each employee to recommend at least one idea to improve safety in the workplace or in a task performed. TMR will be discussing selected recommendations during the safety-awareness meetings.

TMR appreciates ISRI’s efforts in organizing this event. Safety is TMR’s number one core value and providing a safe environment for employees and customers is paramount to TMR’s success.
